I always wear trousers with the minimum number of tampons slotted deep into a pocket (with just a liner as back-up), but I know my friends have twigged that small cylinders in the back pocket mean I'm menstruating. Wow, how I am now in love with my Mooncup. I don't carry anything with me to the toilet. Mooncup emptied, Mooncup replaced - period. No touching sanitary bins in public loos, and nothing sqidgy to be disposed of at a friend's home (or worse, shoved reluctantly into your bag to be dealt with later). Oh, the freedom.
I'm glad I've only just discovered the Mooncup, though, as I think it could have been daunting when I'd just started my periods. But by carrying one small Mooncup with me, I've got all I need for if my period starts even if I was out for the whole day - or even the whole week.
